Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist®

Let me introduce myself, I'm Dr. Brad Woodle and I'm here to help you! I have been involved in chiropractic and acupuncture since childhood when I went with my father to the chiropractor to keep him working as an automotive machinist (which he still is doing well into his 60's). These experiences changed my family's life and now my mission and my purpose are to get you out of unnecessary pain and to optimal health and wellness (not to mention- reduce and prevent last-resort surgeries or medications.)
I graduated as the student body president and in the top of my class from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota with expansive knowledge in the most recent technologies and effective treatment strategies in Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and Rehabilitation. I am nationally board certified in chiropractic, acupuncture, physiotherapy and I regularly integrate rehab exercise, myofascial release, and nutrition into my treatments. I am a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® through the ACBSP, hold a Fellowship to the Acupuncture Society of America, am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist(R) through the NSCA, and am a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Kansas Chiropractic Association, Missouri Chiropractic Association, International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association, and the American Pregnancy Association. Further I am Proficiency Certified in the Webster Technique for pregnant moms and babies.
My next degree emphasis is to obtain another fellowship in Acupuncture Previously I served as the liaison to the Student American Chiropractic Association (ACA) for Cleveland College of Chiropractic, honoring me once as the youngest liaison in the nation to hold this position. Currently I serve the profession in holding the office of President for the Kansas City chapter of the Kansas Chiropractic Association.
Before opening the clinic of Advanced Sports and Family Chiropractic + Acupuncture, I worked at a group practice here in Kansas City for 2 1/2 year in addition to two years in private clinics in Minneapolis while completing a two-year clinical internship. These experiences gave me an extensive knowledge in sports injuries, rehabilitation, nutrition, pediatrics and geriatrics. I provide treatments with both manual (by hand) adjustments and with the low-force tools such as the Activator and Thompson drop tables, depending upon YOUR needs. All of our care will address how to get you well and keep you there!
The most exciting part of my life is our new little baby girl Serenity Marie. She was born on September 15th at home with mid-wives, using the water birth method; without any drugs, stitches or need for further intervention. In addition to this excitement my wife Christina decided to change careers in 2009 from a professor of radiological sciences and clinical coordinator of 14 hospital radiology facilities to work on her doctorate in chiropractic, we're over 2/3rds of the way there and she will someday join our practice.
I look forward to taking care of you!
