Accounts and Billings Manager
Certified Chiropractic Assistant
Hi! Let me introduce myself, my name is Jennifer. My job title is office manager which means I do a little of every position. I truly enjoy my job at ASFCA. Not only do I get to work with amazing doctors, but I'm also blessed to have great team members who make it fun to come to work every day!
I have lived in Overland Park my entire life. I graduated from SM West and went onto study Biology at JCCC. I met my husband while in college and have been married for 15 years. I have a teenage son and preteen daughter who are both involved in multiple sports so I'm VERY busy.
Growing up, you only saw a Chiropractor when you slept funny, or your arm was numb. Well last year when my son started to have extremely painful knee and foot pain during his 7th grade basketball season a friend mentioned to me about Chiropractic. After my son's 1st visit with the Chiropractor he was able to play pain free! I continued to take him for weekly adjustments through his entire season. In 2009 I underwent open heart surgery and was shocked when my heart surgeon informed me that he did not have his patients seek physical therapy after they were healed. Well, after a month of being in constant pain and unable to even open a door, I confided in my son's Chiropractor about my ongoing pain and weakness and he promised he could help. After 6 weeks of adjustments and therapy I was back at 100%, I thought I was going to have to live life in pain.
Honestly, Chiropractic has improved not only my life, but has drastically improved my children's health & well being. We no longer rush to see the pediatrician at the first sign of a cold, or a sprained ankle. Instead, we take a trip here!
Patient Care Coordinator
HI! My name is Lacey, and I'm just your everyday bubbly, smiley girl. I'm the assistant office manager at Advanced Sports and Family Chiropractic. I've been with our exceptional team for about a year now and I'm loving every day of it. Previously I was a waitress at Habaneros Mexican restraunt and a co-worker, thankfully, lead me to our office. It has been an amazing fit! I've struggled with headaches and shoulder pain for the better part of my life and just assumed that they were the norm and had learned to live with them.
ASFCA has completely opened my eyes to the wonders of chiropractic. I get treated on a regular basis by our wonderful team of doctors and now my headaches are obsolete! I full heartedly recommend them to absolutely everyone I know. Whether you've over worked your body and need to be realigned, or suffer from chronic pain like I did, they can surely help improve the quality of your life!
I grew up and spent the better part of my life in Lee's Summit, where I was active in sports and gymnastics in my younger years. As of now I live out near Lone Jack Missouri and have very much taken to the open air of the country.
When I'm not at work I enjoy spending my days relaxing and soaking up sun outdoors.
Come in and see us. You'll be happy that you did. Let us help you live a more comfortable and pain free life.
Chiropractic Assistant & Co-Director of Rehab
Hi everyone! My name is Andrea and I’m a chiropractic assistant and co-director of Rehab here at ASFCA. You’ll see me up front, welcoming you in and setting up future appointments for you, as well as in the rehab area. I have a bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO and am working on getting more certifications in those areas. My passion is helping people feel better in their own skin, and I wholly believe that chiropractic care and physical medicine can achieve that!
My background as a competitive swimmer for practically my whole life really impacted my body, specifically my shoulders and neck. That’s where I carry all my tension and I need my regular adjustments by one of our amazing chiropractors to keep me aligned and relaxed! I started getting adjusted as a sophomore in college at my mom’s request; I was so stressed I couldn’t think straight, couldn’t sleep soundly, and couldn’t perform at my best in class. My migraines were out of this world painful and way too frequent for my liking! After a few weeks of adjustments and following my nutritional program, I can proudly say I haven’t had any migraines since and headaches are far and few between.
As long as I keep up with my regular adjustments to reduce that nerve interference, I get to feel like the best version of myself! Both chiropractic care and acupuncture have made an impact on me, as well as countless number of our patients. Don’t take my word for it- come on in and see how we can help you!
Hello future patients! My name is Carole and I am a born and raised Kansas girl! I’m one of the Chiropractic Assistants you will see at the front desk ready to help you on your journey to Chiropractic care and wellness! I am new to Advanced Sports and Family Chiropractic and Acupuncture, but am not new to the benefits that chiropractic care can bring you and I can’t wait to meet you!
Growing up, I was an all around athlete, in which I par took in varsity cheerleading, dance, soccer and softball. All of the sports took a toll on my body and I started to receive regular adjustments as a freshman in high school when I attended Shawnee Mission South. I also suffer from slight scoliosis and tend to carry all my stress in my neck and shoulders which is why I am such a believer of the combination of chiropractic care and acupuncture together.
I have seen chiropractic care and acupuncture work miracles for many people, and there is no reason you can’t be one of them! I always say you can’t vacuum your carpet once and expect it to stay clean. You have to keep vacuuming, just like you have to keep getting your Chiropractic adjustments to stop that nerve interference to keep you and your spine healthy. Come and take charge of your health and wellness today, here with our great Doctors and staff at ASFCA!
Hi! I’m Savannah and I am a chiropractic assistant here at Advanced Sports and Family Chiropractic and Acupuncture. I’ve been seeing these amazing doctors for about eight years now thanks to my mom, Jennifer. I started seeing a chiropractor because I tore my rotator cuff from softball. We did acupuncture and psychical therapy to get my shoulder back to normal. It took no time, and it was a lot easier than getting surgery.
I started working here in May of 2015 and I have loved it ever since. When I am not in the office, I’m most likely at school. After I graduate from high school, I would like to pursue a career in either dermatology or cosmetology! However, for now, you will be able to see me doing something that I love here! I can’t wait to see everybody and their amazing healing progress!
Hello! My name is Alexis and I am one of the chiropractic assistants here at Advanced Sports and Family Chiropractic and Acupuncture.I was born in Overland Park and graduated from Shawnee Mission North High school. In my spare time you can find me listening to music, hula hooping, being outside enjoying sunshine, or playing with animals.
I am so blessed to be a part of the ASFCA team! I get to work with amazing doctors who really care about their patients; they do everything in their power to help people get better. The staff here is so friendly, full of energy, and so much fun to work with! I have really enjoyed getting to know all of our patients and developing relationships with them. It is truly amazing watching how chiropractic can change lives! ( :
I am a native of Overland Park, graduated from Blue Valley Northwest the first year it opened, went to Johnson County Community College, and Pitt State. I have made a life here in the OP area being a devoted wife and raising our three boys which are now all almost teenagers.
After almost 18 years out of the work force I just recently decided to get back to it. I believe in the body's natural healing process, and always have, and I am excited to be a small part in others journey to discover that same thing.
Hi! My name is Jamie. I was born and raised in Bauxite, Arkansas. I have a wonderful family and adorable pets. About five years ago I was in a severe car accident where I shattered my femur bone into five pieces. So, I moved to Kansas City three years ago to have my final surgery on my right leg. I have had three surgeries and it was not until I came to Advanced Sports and Family Chiropractic and Acupuncture that I learned about how important it is to receive regular adjustments!
I had gone through months and months of physical therap. I did not it at the time, but all that therapy was useless without my chiropractic care as well. With my spine in alignment, it no longer interfered with my nervous system. My body was able to start healing itself, and I saw vast improvements within the first months of treatment! As you can tell, I am crazy about chiropractic. It changed my life!
Now, I am a Chiropractic Assistant here at the clinic and I am surrounded by amazing Doctors and staff. It is wonderful place to work. I love meeting new people and seeing how Chiropractic care has made a difference in their lives as well.
Patient Care Coordinator
Hello, my name is Melissa. I am the Billing Director for ASFCA. I went from being a patient of our fabulous team of doctors to an employee with some of the best co-workers. I truly love everything about my job.
My family and I recently relocated from Kentucky where I was born and raised. I am a huge Kentucky Wildcat fan. I previously Office Managed a Chiropractic office there and was also Vice President of our local youth softball program for 7 years. My husband and I of 16 years have a teenage daughter that plays softball which consumes most of my time outside of work.
I have been going to a Chiropractor since the age of 16 and have had my daughter adjusted since birth. My daughter is a pitcher and getting adjusted keeps her healthy and helps with performance. Chiropractic has helped me in so many ways from suffering with sciatica issues during pregnancy and a back injury in 2010.
I feel that you can never go wrong with being adjusted. It has changed my life and can change yours!!
Director of Rehab and Exercise
Hi everyone! My name is Seth and I am the Director of Rehab for the clinic and one of the many faces that is wanting to get you feeling better! In the rehab department, we are using many different types of therapy to help you relax and keep in place what the doctors work to fix. Whether it be electrical muscle stimulation to keep those tight muscles under control, flexibility or strength training exercises, we are here to get you on the right track to wellness.
I graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Exercise Science and have been wanting to help people in any way that I can. Growing up, I played basketball, baseball, and football until high school where I focused only on basketball. While playing those sports, I noticed that when teammates would get injured, there was a lot of work that went in to getting them feeling better and I wanted to know why. I wanted to know how the body moved and what it took to recover from injuries, and now I get the chance to enlighten people on how to prevent that from happening.
Having never been a chiropractic patient before working for ASFCA, I had no idea that my posture and activities of daily living could have such an effect on the way I felt. Being a tall guy, I let my posture slip and over time it started to cause problems in my neck and upper back. I thought it would just go away until the doctors showed me how chiropractic care would help. Now, I AM HOOKED! Honestly, I wish I would have sought care much sooner and I would advise others to do the same before it’s too late. Come see the doctors and let them show you how chiropractic can help!
Co-Director of Rehab
Hi, I'm Shelly. I graduated from Western Illinois University with a Health Science degree. I have spent most of my career working in physical therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I chose to come to Advanced Sports and Family Chiropractic and Acupuncture because I was excited to work where both, chiropractic’s and rehabilitation were combined. For me, they go hand in hand. I grew up 20 miles from Palmer College of Chiropractic's, so I have known about the great benefits of chiropractic's for a long time. I had my first adjustment way back in 1975! Dr. Trichardt became an integral part of my athletics for the next several years as I competed in volleyball, basketball and track.
Since joining ASFCA, I have undergone care specifically for my fibromyalgia. After being diagnosed many years ago, I made the choice to not take medication and pay for a whole net set of issues. Stretching and exercise served me well, but I have to tell you, regular adjustments here at ASFCA have taken me to a whole new level. Regular adjustments have helped keep those miserable episodes from becoming full blown. Also, I am now able to push myself physically, more than I have been able to since being diagnosed. That is why I love what I do here. I want to give that gift to everyone!
