Tell me about Acupuncture:
Acupuncture has been around for over 5,000 years and the results are astounding! Qi is the term for your body's vital energy that flows throughout different channels known as "meridians". Theses 14 primary meridians within the body are connected and associated with specific functions and organs of the body. It is the flow of Qi within these meridians that is required to nourish and energize every cell, organ, gland, tissue and muscle. The process is painless and has been described as a tingling sensation upon insertion of the tiny hair thin needles.

Our Acupuncturists are trained and educated as both western Doctors and eastern practitioners. This will give you the confidence that you are getting properly diagnosed and allows us to safely and meticulously treat your ailments with acupuncture and refer you when the condition needs surgery or medications.

How Acupuncture Works?
In acupuncture the specific points on the body which are associated with imbalanced Qi are stimulated by the insertion of fine acupuncture needles (you may also use a needle-less form of acupuncture using a low level laser).

Does Acupuncture Hurt?
Unlike the hollow hypodermic needles used to give injections or draw blood, acupuncture needles are thin, solid and can hardly be felt. Most of our patients would describe them as nothing more than a tap or tingle. You'll also be amazed at how small they are!
